About the Experience
Gabi Tallman 2018-2019
"Serving as a VISTA gave me the full-time internship that I didn't know I needed. It let me gain real world experience in my field of study and make community connections for future endeavors."
Kim Theva 2012-2013
"As a VISTA, I was able to help develop program replication materials, program presentations, train volunteers, write grants, and learn the inner workings of non-profit management. The two years I served as a VISTA also allowed me to pay off my student loans, and VISTA also paid the interest for the two years I was serving."
