EMPLOYMENT PATHWAYS

This department focuses on the foundation for employment and job retention. We provide a variety of professional development opportunities for Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens County residents which lead to a full-time career and job retention through educational workshops.

Employment Pathways is a professional career development program that provides monthly finance, professional development workshops, and other resources from the AIM Training Center to eligible unemployed/underemployed participants on their path to full-time careers, job retention, and self-sustainability.

Program participants work with a Career Coach to evaluate employment needs and develop a plan of action. The individualized plans include a variety of experiences to enhance learning and are frequently modified with progress. Guidance and support are provided by the Career Coach throughout
program enrollment. Participants may receive any or all of the following as needed:

  • Individualized career counseling

  • Job search training

  • Soft skills development

  • WorkKeys Certification

  • Resume development

  • Interview skills

  • Occupational skills training

  • Finance Workshops

  • Professional Development

  • Supportive Services
