Why FoodShare?
Many communities in South Carolina do not have access or financial resources to eat healthy on a daily basis. Barriers include where people live, age, income, and whether reliable transportation exists. Without healthy options, health risks increase. Bringing fresh produce into our communities is a form of food equity and is part of our mission. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life in our diverse communities by increasing access to fresh, affordable produce and providing quality cooking skills education. We connect families and communities to fresh fruits and vegetables through the use of our Fresh Food Box.
Who is served?
FoodShare South Carolina currently operates distribution hubs in
twenty-five South Carolina counties serving primarily rural communities across our state. To date, these hubs have distributed more than 200,000 Fresh Food Boxes containing nearly 4 million pounds of produce, with more than 60% of the boxes purchased by SNAP EBT or distributed through other programs serving vulnerable communities. The newest hub is right here, in AIM's Hunger Ministries Program!
What is it?
The Fresh Food Box contains a variety of top quality fruits
and vegetables. Unique recipes, tips and nutrition notes are
included in each box to give participants the encouragement
to expand their knowledge, cook new things and eat
healthier.

AIM is excited to increase access to healthy, fresh food through FoodShare Anderson, a branch of FoodShare South Carolina. Fresh Food Boxes are filled with 9 to 11 varieties of fresh fruits and vegetables. With the contents changing weekly, it’s an affordable and exciting way to eat healthy food. Bulk buying at wholesale prices makes our boxes more affordable than buying produce at retail stores.
Please place your orders by the Wednesday before and they will be ready for pick-up from 1pm-4pm on the following Tuesday. Check our social media and website for updates as we grow this new program! (Boxes are $20, AIM has added a $1 Buffer to cover any payment fees). Click here to order!

FoodShare Boxes are available to you for only $5!
Pick-up at AIM Central (1206 S Murray Ave. Anderson, SC 29622).
Boxes will be ordered every two weeks! Contents of the box will change week to week, based on what's fresh and available at the time!
